The short version. Tuiscint stores everything you write on your phone. The app does not expose your data. The company has no way to see your data. You, the user, are the only person in possession and control of your data. We do not sell, share, or have any access to your data whatsoever. This policy explains the details.
1. Who we are
Tuiscint (pronounced Tish-kint) is an iOS application published by the developer of Tuiscint. References to "we," "us," and "our" in this policy mean the developer. References to "you" mean the person using the app or this website.
If you wish to contact us about this policy, write to privacy@tuiscint.app.
2. Data the app handles
2.1 Journal entries, scores, and tags
Everything you log in Tuiscint (your scores, your written entries, and the tags you create) is stored locally on your iPhone using the operating system's standard secure storage. It does not leave the device except through your direction, and the developer has no access to it.
If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or to a computer, your Tuiscint data is included in that backup, encrypted under your device manufacturer' protections. That backup is solely controlled by you.
2.2 On-device pattern analysis
Tuiscint surfaces patterns from your entries using your phone's built-in intelligence features. This processing happens entirely on your device. Your entries are not sent to us or to any other server for analysis. The model that reads your entries never sees them anywhere except on your phone.
2.3 What we do not collect
- We do not collect a name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier when you use the app.
- We do not ask you to create an account.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
- We do not embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
2.4 Crash reports and diagnostics
If you have opted in to share diagnostic data with developers in your iOS Settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may send us anonymised crash reports for Tuiscint. These contain technical information about the crash (device model, iOS version, stack trace). They do not contain your journal entries, scores, or tags. You can disable this at any time in iOS Settings. Tuiscint has no built-in diagnostic data sharing.
3. Data the website handles
This website (tuiscint.app) is a static marketing site.
- No cookies are set.
- No tracking pixels are embedded.
- No JavaScript is embedded anywhere on the site.
- Standard server access logs (IP address, request time, requested URL, user agent) may be retained by the hosting provider for a short period for security and reliability purposes. We do not link these logs to any individual or use them for tracking.
Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. If you prefer to avoid this, browser extensions that block external fonts will work. If you block Google Fonts, default fonts will be used and the site should still function fully.
4. Export and deletion
Because your data lives on your device, you control deletion directly.
- Delete entries: Remove individual entries from the History tab in the app.
- Delete everything: Delete the Tuiscint app from your iPhone. iOS will permanently remove all of its local data along with it.
- Export: Tuiscint supports user-initiated export of your entries (CSV format). The export is generated on your device and saved through the standard iOS share sheet. We never receive a copy.
5. Children
Tuiscint does not collect data from children, because the app does not collect data at all. This site (Tuiscint.app), does not collect data beyond web server logs.
6. Your rights
Because we do not hold your data, all data, user, and privacy rights established under privacy frameworks like GDPR and CCPA (access, correction, deletion, portability) are exercised directly within the app rather than by request to us. If you have questions about the practical mechanics of any of these rights, email privacy@tuiscint.app and we will help you manage your data and rights.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
7. Security
Tuiscint relies on the standard iOS security model: app sandboxing, file-system encryption when the device is locked, and the security of your device passcode or biometrics. We strongly recommend setting a passcode and enabling Face ID or Touch ID on the iPhone you use Tuiscint on.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, surface a notice in a future version of the app. Because we hold no contact information for users, we cannot email you about changes. Check this page if you want the current version.
